October 10th is Taiwan National Day, and we also call this day Double Tenth Day. Taiwan is a long and narrow island in Asia, we have an inseparable connection with the ocean in terms of our way of life, culture, and national development.

1. The greatest potential for developing offshore wind farms in Asia
According to the 4C offshore global research, the 20 best offshore wind farm locations in the world, and Taiwan Strait accounts for 16 of them. Taiwan initiated wind farm projects in 2016. 2. Flying Fish Ceremony
Orchid Island, home to the Tao people, has a unique tradition called Flying Fish Season. According to legend, when Tao's ancestors first encountered flying fish while seeking food along the coast. They caught and cooked flying fish, but their bodies became unbearably itchy. Consequently, they began to discard flying fish. The Flying Fish God knew and touched by their difficulty, sent a dream to the tribe's elders, teaching them how to catch, prepare, and honor flying fish correctly. From then on, the Tao people have faithfully followed the teachings, maintaining the Flying Fish Ceremony until today.
3. The Blue Tears of Matsu
The Blue Tears are the phenomenon in the water that glows blue. It refers to a kind of phenomenon created by ostracod. It is the little creatures emit light-blue fluorescent lights when they are disturbed by ocean waves. They give the ocean a blue sheen when there are a large number of them.
