What is UWILD and what are its advantages?

For vessel owners, Underwater Inspection in Lieu of Dry-Docking (UWILD) is a safer, more flexible, efficient, and economical alternative to dry-docking. Divers were traditionally used in UWILD procedures, but they also posed a high risk and danger, making vessel owners worried about safety issues. Now, DWTEK ROV is a better alternative approach to divers which can inspect submerged parts such as GVI, CVI, sea chests, thrusters, shafts, hulls, etc.
