ROV Autopsy — The Component Systems
ROV can withstand the most challenging underwater environments and goes into dangerous deadly zones in deep ocean, the component systems function like human body parts, which make ROV ready for any complex tasks.
The leg – Thruster
What makes an ROV fly and move like a champ in the water? That will be a set of good torque thrusters. DWTEK’s ROV has perfect running legs, and there are three series to choose from: direct drive, magnetically coupling brushless, and shaft drive, Expecting more information in the following newsletter.

The eyes – Camera, and LED light
DWTEK underwater HD and SD cameras can dive into a 6,000 m deep ocean and withstand -10°C ~ 50°C environment, have backlight compensation, detect motion, with a wide angle of view, and automatically shift from day to night with no trouble. Its sidekick mini or sea bright LED allows a clear view under the sea.

The neck –Underwater Servo
Servo will direct ROV camera to go ups and down in the water, to get a better image and better view of the surroundings. DWTEK provides ROV a 7Nm high torque output, digital control, and can withstand a 3,000 m depth environment.

Sensor let ROV ‘feel’ the underwater environment, such as the water depth, temperatures, currents, and orientation. All those information will be transferred back through the tether.

The nervous and blood system – The Tether
The tether provides electrical powers that keep ROV energetic and allow the personnel and ROV to have a simultaneous ‘dialogue’ through the image, and track the ROV motion and underwater scenarios. DWTEK sensor has stand-out features such as data directly readout in the serial console, it’s also an instant plug-in, and with high resolution and reliability.
DWTEK customized ROV for different types of users, we also have trained and certified ROV IMCA pilots, come to have a talk with us, and let us help with your needs.
